Dr. Kant Shah
As a medical student, working with children felt daunting: the small bodies, the high stakes, the parents watching every move. A paediatrician on his team made it look effortless and made children feel at ease. That pointed him towards paediatric surgery.
Today he is a paediatric surgeon in Mumbai with over 20 years of experience. His areas of expertise are robotic and laparoscopic surgery, paediatric urology, cancer surgery, and liver, bile duct and pancreas (HPB) surgery, alongside general paediatric surgery.
He trained in the UK for six years, at Birmingham and Oxford Children’s Hospitals. At Borivali Healthcare and his consulting hospitals in Mumbai, he and his team are committed to careful, honest and child-friendly care.
