He trained in the UK for six years — at Birmingham Children's Hospital and Oxford Children's Hospital — two of the world's leading centres for paediatric surgery. He holds the DNB in Paediatric Surgery, MRCS Edinburgh, and is certified in robotic surgery by ORSI Academy, Belgium, one of the world's largest robotic surgical training centres. He has also been a Fellow at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai — India's foremost cancer centre — giving him specialist depth in paediatric oncology that very few surgeons in India possess.
